Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 11/Verse 5

श्रीभगवानुवाच

पश्य मे पार्थ रूपाणि शतशोऽथ सहस्रशः ।

नानाविधानि दिव्यानि नानावर्णाकृतीनि च ॥११- ५॥

śrībhagavānuvāca
paśya me pārtha rūpāṇi śataśo'tha sahasraśaḥ ।
nānāvidhāni divyāni nānāvarṇākṛtīni ca ॥11- 5॥

The Blessed Lord said, you must see the hundredfold, or perhaps the thousandfold forms of me, various divine and various colors and shapes, Son of Pritha.


śrībhagavān (masculine, nominative, singular) = the Blessed Lord

uvāca (past tense, 3rd person, singular) = said

paśya (imperative, 2nd person, singular) = you must see 

me (pronoun, 1st person, genitive, singular) = of me 

pārtha (masculine, vocative, singular) = Son of Pritha (epithet of Arjuna) 

rūpāṇi (neuter, accusative, plural) = forms 

śataśas (number) (indeclinable) = a hundredfold 

atha (adverb) (indeclinable) = or perhaps

sahasraśas (number) (indeclinable) = a thousandfold
