Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 10/Verse 6

महर्षयः सप्त पूर्वे चत्वारो मनवस्तथा ।

मद्भावा मानसा जाता येषां लोक इमाः प्रजाः ॥१०- ६॥

maharṣayaḥ sapta pūrve catvāro manavastathā ।

madbhāvā mānasā jātā yeṣāṃ loka imāḥ prajāḥ ॥10- 6॥

The seven great seers in the past [and] the four ancestors of the human race are originated from me [and] derived from the mind. Just so is the world of whom these beings are born.


maharṣayas (maha + rṣayas) (masculine, nominative, plural) = great seers  

sapta (cardinal numeral) = seven 

pūrve (masculine, locative, singular) = in the past 

catvāras (masculine, nominative, singular) = four

manavas (masculine, nominative, plural) = ancestors of the human race 

tathā (adverb) (indeclinable) = just so

madbhāvās (masculine, nominative, plural) = originating from me 

mānasās (masculine, nominative, plural) = derived from the mind 

jātās (masculine, nominative, plural) = born 

yeṣām (masculine, genitive, plural) = of whom 

lokas (masculine, nominative, singular) = world 

imās (feminine, nominative, plural) = these

prajās (feminine, nominative, plural) = beings
