Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 11/Verse 46

किरीटिनं गदिनं चक्रहस्त-
मिच्छामि त्वां द्रष्टुमहं तथैव ।
तेनैव रूपेण चतुर्भुजेन
सहस्रबाहो भव विश्वमूर्ते ॥११- ४६॥

kirīṭinaṃ gadinaṃ cakrahasta-
micchāmi tvāṃ draṣṭumahaṃ tathaiva ।
tenaiva rūpeṇa caturbhujena
sahasrabāho bhava viśvamūrte ॥11- 46॥

I wish to see you wearing a diadem, armed with a club, having a discus in hand. Thus indeed, you must become that form with four arms, O Thousand Armed One, O You Who Has All Forms. 


kirīṭinam (masculine, accusative, singular) = wearing a diadem

gadinam (masculine, accusative, singular) = armed with a club 

cakrahastam (cakra + hastam) (masculine, accusative, singular) = having a discus in hand 

icchāmi (present tense, 1st person, singular) = I wish 

tvām (pronoun, 2nd person, accusative, singular) = you

draṣṭum (infinitive) (indeclinable) = to see

aham (pronoun, 1st person, nominative, singular) = I

tathā (adverb) (indeclinable) = thus

eva (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed

tena (pronoun, 3rd person, neuter, instrumental, singular) = with that

eva (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed

rūpeṇa (neuter, instrumental, singular) = with form

caturbhujena (catur + bhujena) (neuter, instrumental, singular) = with four arms 

sahasrabāhas (sahasra + bāhas) (masculine, vocative, singular) = O Thousand Armed One  

bhava (imperative, 2nd person, singular) = you must become 

viśvamūrte (masculine, vocative, singular) = O You Who Has All Forms
