Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 10/Verse 39

यच्चापि सर्वभूतानां बीजं तदहमर्जुन ।

न तदस्ति विना यत्स्यान्मया भूतं चराचरम् ॥१०- ३९॥

yaccāpi sarvabhūtānāṃ bījaṃ tadahamarjuna ।

na tadasti vinā yatsyānmayā bhūtaṃ carācaram ॥10- 39॥

And even I am that which is the seed of all beings, Arjuna. That one does not exist without me, whether the being is moving or not moving. 


yad (pronoun, 3rd person, neuter, nominative, singular) = that which 

ca (conjuction) (indeclinable)  = and

api (adverb) (indeclinable) = even 

sarvabhūtānām (sarva + bhūtānām) = of all the beings 

bījam (neuter, nominative, singular) = seed

tad (pronoun, 3rd person, neuter, nominative, singular) = that 

aham (pronoun, 1st person, nominative, singular) = I

arjuna (masculine, vocative, singular) = Arjuna

na (adverb) (indeclinable) = not

tad (pronoun, 3rd person, neuter, nominative, singular) = that one

asti (present tense, 3rd person, singular) = one is 

vinā (adverb) (indeclinable) = without 

yad (pronoun, 3rd person, neuter, nominative, singular) = which

syāt (optative, 3rd person, singular) = it should be 

mayā (pronoun, 1st person, instrumental, singular) = by me 

bhūtam (neuter, nominative, singular) = being 

carācaram (cara + acaram) (neuter, nominative, singular) = moving or not moving
