Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 10/Verse 37

वृष्णीनां वासुदेवोऽस्मि पाण्डवानां धनंजयः ।

मुनीनामप्यहं व्यासः कवीनामुशना कविः ॥१०- ३७॥

vṛṣṇīnāṃ vāsudevo'smi pāṇḍavānāṃ dhanaṃjayaḥ ।

munīnāmapyahaṃ vyāsaḥ kavīnāmuśanā kaviḥ ॥10- 37॥

I am the Son of Vasu-deva of the Vrshnis, I am the Conqueror of Wealth of the Sons of Pandu. Also, I am Vyasa of the sages, [and] Ushana, the poet, of the poets. 


vṛṣṇīnām (masculine, genitive, plural) = of the Vrshnis 

vāsudevas (masculine, nominative, singular) = the Son of Vasu-deva (Krishna) 

asmi (present tense, 1st person, singular) = I am 

pāṇḍavānām (masculine, genitive, plural) = of the Sons of Pandu

dhanaṃjayas = the Conqueror of Wealth (epithet of Arjuna) 

munīnām (masculine, genitive, plural) = of the sages 

api (adverb) (indeclinable) = also 

aham (pronoun, 1st person, nominative, singular) = I

vyāsas (masculine, nominative, singular) = Vyasa 

kavīnām (masculine, genitive, singular) = of the poets 

uśanā (masculine, nominative, singular) = Ushana (an ancient seer)

kavis (masculine, nominative, singular) = a poet
