Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 10/Verse 20

अहमात्मा गुडाकेश सर्वभूताशयस्थितः ।

अहमादिश्च मध्यं च भूतानामन्त एव च ॥१०- २०॥

ahamātmā guḍākeśa sarvabhūtāśayasthitaḥ ।

ahamādiśca madhyaṃ ca bhūtānāmanta eva ca ॥10- 20॥

I am the self-abiding in all beings, O Thick Haired One. And I am the beginning and the middle as well as the end of beings. 


aham (pronoun, 1st person, nominative, singular) = I

ātmā (masculine, nominative, singular) = the self 

guḍākeśa (masculine, vocative, singular) = O Thick Haired One

sarvabhūtāśayasthitas (sarva + bhūta + āśaya + sthitas) (masculine, nominative, singular) = abiding in the hearts of all beings 

aham (pronoun, 1st person, nominative, singular) = I

ādis (masculine, nominative, singular) = beginning 

ca (conjunction) (indeclinable) = and

madhyam (neuter, nominative, singular) = middle 

ca (conjunction) (indeclinable) = and

bhūtānām (masculine, genitive, plural) = of beings 

antas (masculine, nominative, singular) = the end 

eva ca (conjunction) (indeclinable) = as well
