Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 11/Verse 30

लेलिह्यसे ग्रसमानः समन्ता-
ल्लोकान्समग्रान्वदनैर्ज्वलद्भिः ।
तेजोभिरापूर्य जगत्समग्रं
भासस्तवोग्राः प्रतपन्ति विष्णो ॥११- ३०॥

lelihyase grasamānaḥ samantā-
llokānsamagrānvadanairjvaladbhiḥ ।
tejobhirāpūrya jagatsamagraṃ
bhāsastavogrāḥ pratapanti viṣṇo ॥11- 30॥

From all sides you lap up respectfully, swallowing all the worlds with mouths of flaming splendor. Having been filled, your terrible rays burn all the world, O Vishnu.


lelihyase (intensive, 2nd person, singular) = you lap up

grasamānas (grasa + mānas) (present participle, masculine, nominative, singular) = respectfully swallowing 

samantāt (masculine, ablative, singular) = from all sides 

lokān (masculine, accusative, plural) = worlds 

samagrān (masculine, accusative plural) = all 

vadanais (neuter, instrumental, plural) = with mouths

jvaladbhis (present participle, neuter, instrumental, plural) = with flaming 

tejobhis (neuter, instrumental, plural) = with splendor 

āpūrya (gerund) (indeclinable) = having been filled 

jagat (neuter, accusative, singular) = world

samagram (neuter, accusative, singular) = all 

bhāsas (feminine, nominative, plural) = rays 

tava (pronoun, 2nd person, genitive, singular) = of you 

ugrās (feminine, nominative, plural) = terrible  

pratapanti (present tense, 3rd person, plural) = they burn 

viṣṇas (masculine, vocative, singular) = O Vishnu
