Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 11/Verse 28

यथा नदीनां बहवोऽम्बुवेगाः
समुद्रमेवाभिमुखा द्रवन्ति ।
तथा तवामी नरलोकवीरा
विशन्ति वक्त्राण्यभिविज्वलन्ति ॥११- २८॥

yathā nadīnāṃ bahavo'mbuvegāḥ
samudramevābhimukhā dravanti ।
tathā tavāmī naralokavīrā
viśanti vaktrāṇyabhivijvalanti ॥11- 28॥

As many water currents of rivers, indeed, flow toward the ocean, so over there heroes of the world of men enter the blazing mouths of you. 


yathā (adverb) (indeclinable) = as

nadīnām (feminine, genitive, plural) = of rivers

bahavas (masculine, nominative, plural) = many

ambuvegās (masculine, nominative, plural) = water currents

samudram (masculine, accusative, singular) = ocean 

eva (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed 

abhimukhās (masculine, nominative, plural) = toward

dravanti (present tense, 3rd person, plural) = they flow  

tathā (adverb) (indeclinable) = so 

tava (pronoun, 2nd person, genitive, singular) = of you 

amī (masculine, nominative, plural) = over there 

naralokavīrās (nara + loka + vīrās) (masculine, nominative, plural) = heroes of the world of men 

viśanti (present tense, 3rd person, plural) = they enter 

vaktrāṇi (neuter, accusative, plural) = mouths 

abhivijvalanti (present participle, neuter, accusative, plural) = blazing
