Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 10/Verse 1

श्रीभगवानुवाच

भूय एव महाबाहो शृणु मे परमं वचः ।

यत्तेऽहं प्रीयमाणाय वक्ष्यामि हितकाम्यया ॥१०- १॥

śrībhagavānuvāca
bhūya eva mahābāho śṛṇu me paramaṃ vacaḥ ।

yatte'haṃ prīyamāṇāya vakṣyāmi hitakāmyayā ॥10- 1॥

The Blessed Lord said: 
Indeed, moreover O Mighty Armed One you must hear that which are the supreme words of me. I will tell you, the likeness of the beloved, with desire for the good.  


śrībhagavān (masculine, nominative, singular) = the Blessed Lord

uvāca (perfect tense, 3rd person, singular) = one said 

bhūyas (adverb) (indeclinable) = moreover 

eva (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed 

mahābāho (masculine, vocative, singular) = O Mighty Armed One

śṛṇu (imperative, 2nd person, singular) = you must hear

me (pronoun, 1st person, genitive, singular) = of me 

paramam (neuter, accusative, singular) = supreme

vacas (neuter, accusative, singular) = a body of words (a speech) 

yad (pronoun, 3rd person, neuter, accusative, singular) = that which

te (pronoun, 3rd person, dative, singular) = to you

aham (pronoun, 1st person, nominative, singular) = I

prīyamāṇāya (prīya + māṇāya) (participle, masculine, dative, singular) = to the likeness of the beloved 

vakṣyāmi (future tense, 1st person, singular) = I will tell

hitakāmyayā (hita + kāmyayā) (feminine, instrumental, singular) = with desire for the good
