Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 12/Verse 8

मय्येव मन आधत्स्व मयि बुद्धिं निवेशय ।

निवसिष्यसि मय्येव अत ऊर्ध्वं न संशयः ॥१२- ८॥

mayyeva mana ādhatsva mayi buddhiṃ niveśaya ।

nivasiṣyasi mayyeva ata ūrdhvaṃ na saṃśayaḥ ॥12- 8॥

Indeed, you must place the mind in me, you must cause understanding to enter into me. Indeed, you will abide in me. Henceforth, there is no doubt.


mayi (pronoun, 1st person, locative, singular) = in me 

eva (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed

manas (neuter, accusative, singular) = mind  

ādhatsva (imperative, 2nd person, singular) = you must place 

mayi (pronoun, 1st person, locative, singular) = in me 

buddhim (feminine, accusative, singular) = understanding 

niveśaya (causative imperative, 2nd person, singular) = you must cause to enter 

nivasiṣyasi (future tense, 2nd person, singular) = you will abide 

mayi (pronoun, 1st person, locative, singular) = in me 

eva (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed

ata ūrdhvam (adverb) (indeclinable) = henceforth  

na (adverb) (indeclinable) = not

saṃśayas (masculine, nominative, singular) = doubt
