तमस्त्वज्ञानजं विद्धि मोहनं सर्वदेहिनाम् ।
प्रमादालस्यनिद्राभिस्तन्निबध्नाति भारत ॥१४- ८॥
tamastvajñānajaṃ viddhi mohanaṃ sarvadehinām ।
pramādālasyanidrābhistannibadhnāti bhārata ॥14- 8॥
But you must know tamas, born of ignorance, is the confusion of all the embodied ones. By distraction, laziness, and sleepiness that [tamas] fetters, Descendant of the Bharata.
