Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 15/Verse 17

उत्तमः पुरुषस्त्वन्यः परमात्मेत्युदाहृतः ।
यो लोकत्रयमाविश्य बिभर्त्यव्यय ईश्वरः ॥१५- १७॥

uttamaḥ puruṣastvanyaḥ paramātmetyudāhṛtaḥ ।
yo lokatrayamāviśya bibhartyavyaya īśvaraḥ ॥15- 17॥

But the other highest spirit is called the supreme self, who having entered the three worlds, it supports [the three worlds] as the eternal lord. 



uttamas (masculine, nominative, singular) = highest

puruṣas (masculine, nominative, singular) = spirit 

tu (conjunction) (indeclinable) = but 

anyas (masculine, nominative, singular) = other 

paramātmā (masculine, nominative, singular) = the supreme self  

iti (punctuation) (indeclinable) = (quotation marks) 

udāhṛtas (past passive participle, masculine, nominative, singular) = called 


yas (pronoun, 3rd person, masculine, nominative, singular) = who 

lokatrayam (masculine, accusative, singular) = the three worlds 

āviśya (gerund) (indeclinable) = having entered  

bibharti (present tense, 3rd person, singular) = one supports 

avyayas (masculine, nominative, singular) = eternal  

īśvaras (masculine, nominative, singular) = the lord
