Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 15/Verse 18

यस्मात्क्षरमतीतोऽहमक्षरादपि चोत्तमः ।

अतोऽस्मि लोके वेदे च प्रथितः पुरुषोत्तमः ॥१५- १८॥

yasmātkṣaramatīto'hamakṣarādapi cottamaḥ ।
ato'smi loke vede ca prathitaḥ puruṣottamaḥ ॥15- 18॥

As I have gone beyond the perishable and also higher than the eternal, therefore I am celebrated as the supreme spirit in the Veda and the world. 



yasmāt (masculine, ablative, singular) = as

kṣaram (masculine, accusative, singular) = perishable 

atītas (past passive participle, masculine, nominative, singular) = gone beyond 

aham (pronoun, 1st person, nominative, singular) = I

akṣarāt (masculine, ablative, singular) = than the eternal  

api (adverb) (indeclinable) = also

ca (conjuction) (indeclinable) = and

uttamas (masculine, nominative, singular) = highest 


atas (adverb) (indeclinable) = therefore

asmi (present tense, 1st person, singular) = I am 

loke (masculine, locative, singular) = in the world

vede (masculine, locative, singular) = in the Veda

ca (conjuction) (indeclinable) = and

prathitas (past passive participle, masculine, nominative, singular) = celebrated as 

puruṣottamas (puruṣa + uttamas) (masculine, nominative, singular) = supreme spirit
