Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 12/Verse 15

यस्मान्नोद्विजते लोको लोकान्नोद्विजते च यः ।


हर्षामर्षभयोद्वेगैर्मुक्तो यः स च मे प्रियः ॥१२- १५॥

yasmānnodvijate loko lokānnodvijate ca yaḥ ।
harṣāmarṣabhayodvegairmukto yaḥ sa ca me priyaḥ ॥12- 15॥

From whom the world does not tremble, from the world one does not tremble, and who is released from trembling, fear, impatience, and joy, that one is also my beloved. 


yasmāt (pronoun, 3rd person, masculine, ablative, singular) = from whom

na (adverb) (indeclinable) = not 

udvijate (present tense, 3rd person, singular) = it trembles

lokas (masculine, nominative, singular) = world 

lokāt (masculine, ablative, singular) = from the world 

na (adverb) (indeclinable) = not 

udvijate (present tense, 3rd person, singular) = it trembles  

ca (conjunction) (indeclinable) = and

yas (pronoun, 3rd person, masculine, nominative, singular) = who 


harṣāmarṣabhayodvegais (harṣa + āmarṣa + bhaya + udvegais) (masculine, instrumental, plural) = with trembling, fear, impatience, and joy 

muktas (past passive participle, masculine, nominative, singular) = released 

yas (pronoun, 3rd person, masculine, nominative, singular) = who 

sas (pronoun, 3rd person, masculine, nominative, singular) = that one 

ca (conjunction) (indeclinable) = also

me (pronoun, 1st person, genitive, singular) = of me 

priyas (masculine, nominative, singular) = beloved
