Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 14/Verse 20

गुणानेतानतीत्य त्रीन्देही देहसमुद्भवान् ।


जन्ममृत्युजरादुःखैर्विमुक्तोऽमृतमश्नुते ॥१४- २०॥

guṇānetānatītya trīndehī dehasamudbhavān ।

janmamṛtyujarāduḥkhairvimukto'mṛtamaśnute ॥14- 20॥

Having transcended these three gunas, those being the origin of the body; the embodied, liberated from birth, death, old age, and misery, attains immortality. 



guṇān (masculine, accusative, plural) = gunas


etān (masculine, accusative, plural) = these 


atītya (gerund) (indeclinable) = having transcended 


trīn (masculine, accusative, plural) = three 


dehī (masculine, nominative, singular) = embodied  


dehasamudbhavān (deha + samudbhavān) (masculine, accusative, plural) = those being the origin of the body



janmamṛtyujarāduḥkhais (janma + mṛtyu + jarā + duḥkhais) (neuter, instrumental, plural) = from birth death, old age, and misery 

vimuktas (past passive participle, masculine, nominative, singular) = liberated 


amṛtam (neuter, accusative, singular) = immortality 


aśnute (present tense, 3rd person, singular) = one attains
