Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 12/Verse 11

अथैतदप्यशक्तोऽसि कर्तुं मद्योगमाश्रितः ।

सर्वकर्मफलत्यागं ततः कुरु यतात्मवान् ॥१२- ११॥


athaitadapyaśakto'si kartuṃ madyogamāśritaḥ ।

sarvakarmaphalatyāgaṃ tataḥ kuru yatātmavān ॥12- 11॥

But if even you are unable to perform this yoga for the sake of me, then practiced with self-restraint you must act abandoning all the results of action.



atha (adverb) (indeclinable) = but if 


etad (pronoun, 3rd person, neuter, accusative, singular) = this 


api (adverb) (indeclinable) = even 


aśaktas (past passive participle, masculine, nominative, singular) = unable  


asi (present tense, 2nd person, singular) = you are 


kartum (infinitive) (indeclinable) = to perform 


madyogam (mad + yogam) (neuter, accusative, singular) = yoga for the sake of me 


āśritas (past passive participle, masculine, nominative, singular) = practiced 



sarvakarmaphalatyāgam (sarva + karma + phala + tyāgam) (masculine, accusative, singular) = abandoning all the results of action  

tatas (adverb) (indeclinable) = then 


kuru (imperative, 2nd person, singular) = you must act 


yatātmavān (masculine, nominative, singular) = with self-restraint
