Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 18/Verse 59

यदहंकारमाश्रित्य न योत्स्य इति मन्यसे ।


मिथ्यैष व्यवसायस्ते प्रकृतिस्त्वां नियोक्ष्यति ॥१८- ५९॥

yadahaṃkāramāśritya na yotsya iti manyase ।


mithyaiṣa vyavasāyaste prakṛtistvāṃ niyokṣyati ॥18- 59॥


Taking refuge in that which is egoism, you think, "I will not fight." This resolve of your's is vain.  Nature will command you. 


yad (pronoun, 3rd person, neuter, accusative, singular) = which 


ahaṃkāram (masculine, accusative, singular) = egotism 


āśritya (gerund) (indeclinable) = taking refuge in 


na (adverb) (indeclinable) = not


yotsya (future tense, 1st person, singular) = I will fight 


iti (punctuation) (indeclinable) = (close quotation marks)


manyase (present tense, 2nd person, singular) = you think



mithyā (adverb) (indeclinable) = vain

eṣas (masculine, nominative, singular) = this  

vyavasāyas (masculine, nominative, singular) = resolve 


te (pronoun, 2nd person, genitive, singular) = of you

prakṛtis (feminine, nominative, singular) = nature


tvāṃ (pronoun, 2nd person, accusative, singular) = you 

niyokṣyati (future tense, 3rd person, singular) = it will command
