Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 18/Verse 4

निश्चयं शृणु मे तत्र त्यागे भरतसत्तम ।

त्यागो हि पुरुषव्याघ्र त्रिविधः संप्रकीर्तितः ॥१८- ४॥


niścayaṃ śṛṇu me tatra tyāge bharatasattama ।


tyāgo hi puruṣavyāghra trividhaḥ saṃprakīrtitaḥ ॥18- 4॥



In this case you must hear my conclusion in abandonment, O Best of the Bharatas. Indeed, abandonment is designated to be threefold, Tiger among Men.  



niścayam (masculine, accusative, singular) = conclusion 


śṛṇu (imperative, 2nd person, singular) = you must hear 


me (pronoun, 1st person, genitive, singular) = my


tatra (adverb) (indeclinable) = in this case 


tyāge (masculine, locative, singular) = in abandonment 


bharatasattama (masculine, vocative, singular) = O Best of the Bharatas (epithet of Arjuna) 



tyāgas (masculine, nominative, singular) = abandonment 

hi (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed 


puruṣavyāghra (masculine, vocative, singular) = Tiger among Men (epithet of Arjuna) 


trividhas (masculine, nominative, singular) = threefold 


saṃprakīrtitas (past passive participle, masculine, nominative, singular) = designated
