Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 18/Verse 29

बुद्धेर्भेदं धृतेश्चैव गुणतस्त्रिविधं शृणु ।

प्रोच्यमानमशेषेण पृथक्त्वेन धनंजय ॥१८- २९॥

buddherbhedaṃ dhṛteścaiva guṇatastrividhaṃ śṛṇu ।


procyamānamaśeṣeṇa pṛthaktvena dhanaṃjaya ॥18- 29॥

You must hear the threefold distinction of understanding, and indeed, steadfastness, in reference to the gunas, proclaimed one by one with completeness, Conqueror of Wealth. 


buddhes (feminine, genitive, singular) = of understanding 

bhedam (masculine, accusative, singular) = distinction 

dhṛtes (feminine, genitive, singular) = of steadfastness 

ca (conjunction) (indeclinable) = and 

eva (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed

guṇatas (adverb) (indeclinable) = in reference to the gunas

trividham (masculine, accusative, singular) = threefold  

śṛṇu (imperative, 2nd person, singular) = you must hear 

procyamānam (passive present participle, masculine, accusative, singular) = proclaimed 

aśeṣeṇa (masculine, instrumental, singular) =  with completeness  

pṛthaktvena (masculine, instrumental, singular) = one by one

dhanaṃjaya (masculine, vocative, singular) = Conqueror of Wealth
