Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 18/Verse 11

न हि देहभृता शक्यं त्यक्तुं कर्माण्यशेषतः ।

यस्तु कर्मफलत्यागी स त्यागीत्यभिधीयते ॥१८- ११॥


na hi dehabhṛtā śakyaṃ tyaktuṃ karmāṇyaśeṣataḥ ।


yastu karmaphalatyāgī sa tyāgītyabhidhīyate ॥18- 11॥


Indeed, one is not able to completely abandon actions while possessing a body, but who abandons the fruit of action, that one is called, one who abandons.  



na (adverb) (indeclinable) = not 


hi (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed


dehabhṛtā (neuter, instrumental, singular) = with possessing a body


śakyam (neuter, accusative, singular) = able 


tyaktum (infinitive) (indeclinable) = to abandon 


karmāṇi (neuter, accusative, plural) = actions 


aśeṣatas (adverb) (indeclinable) = completely 



yas (pronoun, 3rd person, masculine, nominative, singular) = who 

tu (conjunction) (indeclinable) = but 


karmaphalatyāgī (masculine, nominative, singular) = one who abandons the fruit of action 


sas (pronoun, 3rd person , masculine, nominative, singular) = that one 


tyāgī (masculine, nominative, singular) = one who abandons 


iti (punctuation) (indeclinable) = (close quotes)


abhidhīyate (present tense, passive, 3rd person, singular) = one is called
