Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 18/Verse 33

धृत्या यया धारयते मनःप्राणेन्द्रियक्रियाः ।

योगेनाव्यभिचारिण्या धृतिः सा पार्थ सात्त्विकी ॥१८- ३३॥

dhṛtyā yayā dhārayate manaḥprāṇendriyakriyāḥ ।


yogenāvyabhicāriṇyā dhṛtiḥ sā pārtha sāttvikī ॥18- 33॥

By which firmness, not going astray, the functions of the senses, vital breath, and mind causes one to hold by yoga, that firmness is sattvic, Son of Prithā. 


dhṛtyā (feminine, instrumental, singular) = by firmness 

yayā (feminine, instrumental, singular) = by which 

dhārayate (causative, 3rd person, singular) = causes one hold

manasprāṇendriyakriyās (manas + prāṇa + indriya + kriyās) (feminine, nominative, plural) =  the functions of the senses, vital breath, and mind 
yogena (masculine, instrumental, singular) = by yoga 

avyabhicāriṇyā (feminine, instrumental, singular) = by not going astray  

dhṛtis (feminine,nominative, singular) = firmness 

sā (pronoun, 3rd person, feminine, nominative, singular) = that 

pārtha (masculine, vocative, singular) = Son of Prithā

sāttvikī (feminine, nominative, singular) = sattvic
