Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 18/Verse 63

इति ते ज्ञानमाख्यातं गुह्याद्‌गुह्यतरं मया ।

विमृश्यैतदशेषेण यथेच्छसि तथा कुरु ॥१८- ६३॥

iti te jñānamākhyātaṃ guhyād‌guhyataraṃ mayā ।


vimṛśyaitadaśeṣeṇa yathecchasi tathā kuru ॥18- 63॥

Thus, the knowledge told to you by me is more secret than the secret. Reflecting on this with wholeness, as you desire, so you must do.

tameva śaraṇaṃ gaccha sarvabhāvena bhārata ।

tatprasādātparāṃ śāntiṃ sthānaṃ prāpsyasi śāśvatam ॥18- 62॥

Descendant of Bharata, you must go take refuge, indeed, in that one with the whole being. From that grace you will attain an eternal abode and supreme peace.

īśvaraḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ hṛddeśe'rjuna tiṣṭhati ।



bhrāmayansarvabhūtāni yantrārūḍhāni māyayā ॥18- 61॥

The Lord of all beings in the region of the heart stands causing all beings to move by the power of illusion, as if fixed to a machine.

Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 18/Verse 60

स्वभावजेन कौन्तेय निबद्धः स्वेन कर्मणा ।

कर्तुं नेच्छसि यन्मोहात्करिष्यस्यवशोऽपि तत् ॥१८- ६०॥

svabhāvajena kaunteya nibaddhaḥ svena karmaṇā ।


kartuṃ necchasi yanmohātkariṣyasyavaśo'pi tat ॥18- 60॥

Son of Kunti, by one's own born nature one is bound to do by one's own action. From delusion without will you will do even that, which you do not desire.

Taking refuge in that which is egoism, you think, "I will not fight." This resolve of your's is vain.  Nature will command you.

Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 18/Verse 58

मच्चित्तः सर्वदुर्गाणि मत्प्रसादात्तरिष्यसि ।

अथ चेत्त्वमहंकारान्न श्रोष्यसि विनङ्क्ष्यसि ॥१८- ५८॥

maccittaḥ sarvadurgāṇi matprasādāttariṣyasi ।


atha cettvamahaṃkārānna śroṣyasi vinaṅkṣyasi ॥18- 58॥

Thinking of me you will transcend all difficulties from my grace, but if from egotism you will not hear, you will perish.

By devotion one comes to know me. Then truly knowing how great and who I am truly, one immediately enters me .

The tranquil self being with Brahman does not grieve, does not desire, is impartial among all beings, one attains supreme devotion to me.

Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 18/Verse 53

अहंकारं बलं दर्पं कामं क्रोधं परिग्रहम् ।

विमुच्य निर्ममः शान्तो ब्रह्मभूयाय कल्पते ॥१८- ५३॥


ahaṃkāraṃ balaṃ darpaṃ kāmaṃ krodhaṃ parigraham ।


vimucya nirmamaḥ śānto brahmabhūyāya kalpate ॥18- 53॥


Relinquishing egotism, strength, pride, desire, anger, possessing, one unselfish and tranquil is fit for oneness with Brahman.
