Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 8/Verse 8

अभ्यासयोगयुक्तेन चेतसा नान्यगामिना ।


परमं पुरुषं दिव्यं याति पार्थानुचिन्तयन् ॥८- ८॥

abhyāsayogayuktena cetasā nānyagāminā ।
paramaṃ puruṣaṃ divyaṃ yāti pārthānucintayan ॥8- 8॥

By being yoked to the yoga of practice with the mind not going toward another, one goes to the divine supreme spirit, Son of Pritha, meditating. 


abhyāsayogayuktena (abhyāsa + yoga + yuktena) (masculine, instrumental, singular) = by being yoked to the yoga of practice 

cetasā (neuter, instrumental, singular) = by mind 

na (conjunction) (indeclinable) = not 

anyagāminā (anya + gāminā) (masculine, instrumental, singular) = by going toward another 


paramam (masculine, accusative, singular) = to the supreme 

puruṣam (masculine, accusative, singular) = spirit  

divyam (masculine, accusative, singular) = divine  

yāti (present tense, 3rd person, singular) = one goes 

pārtha (masculine, vocative, singular) = Son of Pritha (epithet of Arjuna) 

anucintayan (participle, masculine, nominative, singular) = meditating
