Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 7/Verse 18

उदाराः सर्व एवैते ज्ञानी त्वात्मैव मे मतम् ।

आस्थितः स हि युक्तात्मा मामेवानुत्तमां गतिम् ॥७- १८॥

udārāḥ sarva evaite jñānī tvātmaiva me matam ।

āsthitaḥ sa hi yuktātmā māmevānuttamāṃ gatim ॥7- 18॥

These, indeed, are all exalted ones, but the one possessed of knowledge is thought to be, indeed, my self, indeed, that one, the self yoked, dwelt in me, indeed, is the highest path.  


udārās (masculine, nominative, plural) = exalted ones

sarve (adjective, masculine, nominative, plural) = all  

eva (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed 

ete (pronoun, 3rd person, masculine, nominative, plural) = these  

jñānī (masculine, nominative, singular) = one possessed of knowledge 

tu (conjunction) (indeclinable) = but 

ātmā (masculine, nominative, singular) = the self 

eva (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed  

me (pronoun, 1st person, genitive, singular) = my  

matam (past passive participle, neuter, nominative, singular) = thought 

āsthitas (past passive participle, masculine, nominative, singular) = dwelt 

sas (pronoun, 3rd person, nominative, singular) = that one 

hi (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed 

yuktātmā (yukta + ātmā) (masculine, nominative, singular) = the self yoked 

mām (pronoun, 1st person, accusative, singular) = me 

eva (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed

anuttamām (feminine, accusative, singular) = highest 

gatim (feminine, accusative, singular) = path
