Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 8/Verse 20

परस्तस्मात्तु भावोऽन्योऽव्यक्तोऽव्यक्तात्सनातनः ।


यः स सर्वेषु भूतेषु नश्यत्सु न विनश्यति ॥८- २०॥

parastasmāttu bhāvo'nyo'vyakto'vyaktātsanātanaḥ ।

yaḥ sa sarveṣu bhūteṣu naśyatsu na vinaśyati ॥8- 20॥


But higher than that is another state of being, who is the perpetual unmanifest from the unmanifest, that one does not perish in all the extinctions of existence. 


paras (masculine, nominative, singular) = higher  

tasmāt (ablative of comparison, pronoun, 3rd person, ablative, singular) = than that

tu (conjunction) (indeclinable) = but

bhāvas (masculine, nominative, singular) = state of being  

anyas (masculine, nominative, singular) = other

avyaktas (past passive participle, masculine, nominative, singular) = unmanifest 

avyaktāt (masculine, ablative, singular) = from the unmanifest 

sanātanas (masculine, nominative, singular) = perpetual 

yas (pronoun, 3rd person, masculine, nominative, singular) = who  

sas (pronoun, 3rd person, masculine, nominative, singular) = that one 

sarveṣu (masculine, locative, plural) = in all

bhūteṣu (masculine, locative, plural) = in existence 

naśyatsu (masculine, locative, plural) = in the extinctions 

na (adverb) (indeclinable) = not

vinaśyati (present tense, 3rd person, singular) = it perishes
