Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 8/Verse 11

यदक्षरं वेदविदो वदन्ति

विशन्ति यद्यतयो वीतरागाः ।


यदिच्छन्तो ब्रह्मचर्यं चरन्ति


तत्ते पदं संग्रहेण प्रवक्ष्ये ॥८- ११॥


yadakṣaraṃ vedavido vadanti

viśanti yadyatayo vītarāgāḥ ।
yadicchanto brahmacaryaṃ caranti
tatte padaṃ saṃgraheṇa pravakṣye ॥8- 11॥


That which those versed in the Vedas say is imperishable. That which the ascetics desiring to be free from passion, enter and practice a life of chastity. That which I will explain that path to you with brevity. 



yat (pronoun, 3rd person, neuter, nominative, singular) = that which 


akṣaram (neuter, accusative, singular) = imperishable 

vedavidas (masculine, nominative, plural) = those versed in the Vedas 


vadanti (present tense, 3rd person, plural) = they say 


viśanti (present tense, 3rd person, plural) = they enter  


yat (pronoun, 3rd person, neuter, nominative, singular) = that which 


yatayas (masculine, nominative, plural) = the ascetics  

vītarāgās (vīta + rāgās) (masculine, nominative, plural) = free from passion  


yat (pronoun, 3rd person, neuter, nominative, singular) = that which


icchantas (present participle, masculine, nominative, plural) = desiring  

brahmacaryam (neuter, accusative, singular) = life of chastity 


caranti (present tense, 3rd person, plural) = they practice 


tat (pronoun, 3rd person, neuter, accusative, singular) = that 

te (pronoun, 2nd person, dative, singular) = to you 

padam (neuter, accusative, singular) = path


saṃgraheṇa (masculine, instrumental, singular) = with brevity 


pravakṣye (future tense, 1st person, singular) = I will explain
