Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 8/Verse 23

यत्र काले त्वनावृत्तिमावृत्तिं चैव योगिनः ।

प्रयाता यान्ति तं कालं वक्ष्यामि भरतर्षभ ॥८- २३॥

yatra kāle tvanāvṛttimāvṛttiṃ caiva yoginaḥ ।

prayātā yānti taṃ kālaṃ vakṣyāmi bharatarṣabha ॥8- 23॥

But in the time where deceased yogins go returning [and] not returning. I will speak of that time, Bull of the Bharatas. 


yatra (adverb) (indeclinable) = where

kāle (masculine, locative, singular) = in time

tu (conjunction) (indeclinable) = but

anāvṛttim (feminine, accusative, singular) = not returning 

āvṛttim (feminine, accusative, singular) = returning  

ca (conjunction) (indeclinable) = and

eva (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed 

yoginas (masculine, nominative, plural) = yogins 

prayātās (past passive participle, masculine, nominative, plural) = deceased

yānti (present tense, 3rd person, plural) = they go 

tam (pronoun, 3rd person, masculine, accusative, singular) = that  

kālam (masculine, accusative, singular) = time

vakṣyāmi (future tense, 1st person, singular) = I will speak

bharatarṣabha (masculine, vocative, singular) = Bull of the Bharatas (epithet of Arjuna)
