Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 8/Verse 19

भूतग्रामः स एवायं भूत्वा भूत्वा प्रलीयते ।

रात्र्यागमेऽवशः पार्थ प्रभवत्यहरागमे ॥८- १९॥

bhūtagrāmaḥ sa evāyaṃ bhūtvā bhūtvā pralīyate ।


rātryāgame'vaśaḥ pārtha prabhavatyaharāgame ॥8- 19॥

This aggregate of beings, indeed, having existed again and again is dissolved at the arrival of night. At the arrival of day that [aggregate of beings] unrestrained comes into existence, Son of Pritha. 


bhūtagrāmas (bhūta + grāmas) (masculine, nominative, singular) = aggregate of beings 

sas (pronoun, 3rd person, masculine, nominative, singular) = that

eva (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed

ayam (pronoun, 3rd person, masculine, nominative, singular) = this 

bhūtvā bhūtvā (gerund) (indeclinable) = having existed again and again

pralīyate (present tense, passive, 3rd person, singular) = it is dissolved 

rātryāgame (rātri + āgame) (masculine, locative, singular) = at the arrival of night 

avaśas (masculine, nominative, singular) = unrestrained 

pārtha (masculine, vocative, singular) = Son of Pritha 

prabhavati (present tense, 3rd person, singular) = it comes into existence 

aharāgame (ahar + āgame) (masculine, locative, singular) = at the arrival of day
