Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 8/Verse 26

शुक्लकृष्णे गती ह्येते जगतः शाश्वते मते ।


एकया यात्यनावृत्तिमन्ययावर्तते पुनः ॥८- २६॥

śuklakṛṣṇe gatī hyete jagataḥ śāśvate mate ।
ekayā yātyanāvṛttimanyayāvartate punaḥ ॥8- 26॥

Indeed, the two paths of light and dark, these two considered eternal of the universe, by one goes to non-return, by the other one returns again. 


śuklakṛṣṇe (śukla + kṛṣṇe) (feminine, nominative, dual) = light and dark

gatī (feminine, nominative, dual) = two paths

hi (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed 

ete (feminine, nominative, dual) = these two

jagatas (neuter, genitive, singular) = of the universe 

śāśvate (feminine, nominative, dual) = eternal 

mate (past passive participle, feminine, nominative, dual) = considered

ekayā (feminine, instrumental, singular) = by one

yāti (present tense, 3rd person, singular) = one goes 

anāvṛttim (feminine, accusative, singular) = to non-return 

anyayā (feminine, instrumental, singular) = by the other 

āvartate (passive, 3rd person, singular) = one returns  

punar (adverb) (indeclinable) = again
