Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 6/Verse 8

ज्ञानविज्ञानतृप्तात्मा कूटस्थो विजितेन्द्रियः ।


युक्त इत्युच्यते योगी समलोष्टाश्मकाञ्चनः ॥६- ८॥

jñānavijñānatṛptātmā kūṭastho vijitendriyaḥ ।
yukta ityucyate yogī samaloṣṭāśmakāñcanaḥ ॥6- 8॥

The yogin [who considers] gold, stone, and soil as equal is said, "To be yoked, the self contented with discrimination and knowledge, standing at the top, the senses subdued."


jñānavijñānatṛptātmā (jñāna + vijñāna + tṛpta + ātmā) (masculine, nominative, singular) =  self contented with discrimination and knowledge 

kūṭasthas (masculine, nominative, singular) = standing at the top

vijitendriyas (vijita + indriyas) (masculine, nominative, singular) = the senses subdued 


yukta (past passive participle, masculine, nominative, singular) = yoked

iti (punctuation) (indeclinable) = (close quotes)

ucyate (present tense, passive, 3rd person, singular) = said 

yogī (masculine, nominative, singular) = yogin

samaloṣṭāśmakāñcanas (sama + loṣṭa + aśma + kāñcanas) (adjective, masculine, nominative, singular) = gold, stone, and soil as equal 

Commentary

Most translations have contrary interpretations due to ignoring the word "iti" as a close quote punctuation marker.
