Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 6/Verse 2

यं संन्यासमिति प्राहुर्योगं तं विद्धि पाण्डव ।

न ह्यसंन्यस्तसंकल्पो योगी भवति कश्चन ॥६- २॥


yaṃ saṃnyāsamiti prāhuryogaṃ taṃ viddhi pāṇḍava ।

na hyasaṃnyastasaṃkalpo yogī bhavati kaścana ॥6- 2॥

That which they called, "renunciation," you must know that as yoga, Son of Pandu. 
Indeed, no one is a yogin with a purpose of non-renunciation. 


yam (pronoun, 3rd person, masculine, accusative, singular) = that which 


saṃnyāsam (masculine, accusative, singular) = renunciation 


iti (punctuation) (indeclinable) = (close quotes)


prāhus (past tense, 3rd person, plural) = they call


yogam (masculine, accusative, singular) = yoga

viddhi (imperative, 2nd person, singular) = you must know 


pāṇḍava (masculine, vocative, singular) = Son of Pandu


na (adverb) (indeclinable) = not 

hi (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed 


asaṃnyastasaṃkalpas (asaṃnyasta + saṃkalpas) (compound) (masculine, nominative, singular) = without renounced purpose 


yogī (masculine, nominative, singular) = yogin


bhavati (present tense, 3rd person, singular) = one is 


kaścana (adverb) (indeclinable) =anyone
