Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 6/Verse 11

शुचौ देशे प्रतिष्ठाप्य स्थिरमासनमात्मनः ।


नात्युच्छ्रितं नातिनीचं चैलाजिनकुशोत्तरम् ॥६- ११॥

śucau deśe pratiṣṭhāpya sthiramāsanamātmanaḥ ।
nātyucchritaṃ nātinīcaṃ cailājinakuśottaram ॥6- 11॥

Having located the self's firm sitting posture in a clean place not too high [or] too low on a surface of kusha grass, hairy animal skin, and a piece of cloth.


śucau (femine, locative, singular) = in a clean

deśe (masculine, locative, singular) = in a place

pratiṣṭhāpya (gerund) (indeclinable) = having located 

sthiram (masculine, accusative, singular) = firm

āsanam (masculine, accusative, singular) = sitting posture 

ātmanas (masculine, genitive, singular) = of the self


na (adverb) (indeclinable) = not

atyucchritam (past passive participle, neuter, accusative, singular) = raised too high  

na (adverb) (indeclinable) = not

atinīcam (neuter, accusative, singular) = too low  

cailājinakuśottaram (caila + ajina + kuśa + uttaram) (neuter, accusative, singular) = a surface of kusha grass, hairy animal skin, and a piece of cloth
