Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 5/Verse 27

स्पर्शान्कृत्वा बहिर्बाह्यांश्चक्षुश्चैवान्तरे भ्रुवोः ।

प्राणापानौ समौ कृत्वा नासाभ्यन्तरचारिणौ ॥५- २७॥


sparśānkṛtvā bahirbāhyāṃścakṣuścaivāntare bhruvoḥ ।

prāṇāpānau samau kṛtvā nāsābhyantaracāriṇau ॥5- 27॥

Having accomplished the exclusion of the external contacts, having preformed equal inhaling and exhaling moving within the nose, and indeed, the [third] eye in-between the two eyebrows.



sparśān (masculine, accusative, plural) = contacts 


kṛtvā (gerund) (indeclinable) = having accomplished


bahis (adverb) (indeclinable) = external


bāhyān (masculine, accusative, plural) = excluded 


cakṣus (masculine, accusative, singular) = [third] eye 


ca (conjunction) (indeclinable) = and 


eva (adverb) (indeclinable) = indeed 


āntare (masculine, locative, singular) = in-between


bhruvoḥ (feminine, genitive, dual) = of the two eyebrows


prāṇāpānau (masculine, accusative, dual) = inhale and exhale 

samau (masculine, accusative, dual) = equal 


kṛtvā (gerund) (indeclinable) = having performed 


nāsābhyantaracāriṇau (nāsā + abhyantara + cāriṇau) (masculine, accusative, dual) = moving within the nostrils
