Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 5/Verse 2

श्रीभगवानुवाच

संन्यासः कर्मयोगश्च निःश्रेयसकरावुभौ ।


तयोस्तु कर्मसंन्यासात्कर्मयोगो विशिष्यते ॥५- २॥


śrībhagavānuvāca

saṃnyāsaḥ karmayogaśca niḥśreyasakarāvubhau ।
tayostu karmasaṃnyāsātkarmayogo viśiṣyate ॥5- 2॥

The Blessed Lord said, renunciation and yoga of actions both produce bliss, but the yoga of actions surpasses the renunciation of actions. 

śrībhagavān (masculine, nominative, singular) = the Blessed Lord


uvāca (past tense, 3rd person, singular) = said 


saṃnyāsas (masculine, nominative, singular) = renunciation  


karmayogas (karma + yogas) (compound) (masculine, nominative, singular) = yoga of actions 


ca (conjunction) (indeclinable) = and


niḥśreyasakarāvubhau (niḥśreyasa + karāu) (compound) (masculine, nominative, dual) = two produce bliss


ubhau (masculine, nominative, dual) = both 



tayos (masculine, genitive, dual) = of the two  

tu (conjunction) (indeclinable) = but 


karmasaṃnyāsāt (karma + saṃnyāsāt) (compound) (masculine, ablative, singular) = from renunciation of actions


karmayogas (karma + yogas) (compound) (masculine, nominative, singular) = yoga of action


viśiṣyate (present tense, 3rd person, singular) = surpasses
