Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 4/Verse 34

तद्विद्धि प्रणिपातेन परिप्रश्नेन सेवया ।

उपदेक्ष्यन्ति ते ज्ञानं ज्ञानिनस्तत्त्वदर्शिनः ॥४-३४॥


tadviddhi praṇipātena paripraśnena sevayā ।


upadekṣyanti te jñānaṃ jñāninastattvadarśinaḥ ॥4-34॥

That you must know by complete surrender, by inquiry, by service. The wise ones, seers of reality, will teach knowledge to thee. 



tad (pronoun, 3rd, neuter, accusative, singular) = that


viddhi (imperative, 2nd person, singular) = you must know


praṇipātena (masculine, instrumental, singular) = by complete surrender 


paripraśnena (masculine, instrumental, singular) = by inquiry


sevayā (feminine, instrumental, singular) = by service


upadekṣyanti (future, 3rd person, plural) = they will teach 

te (pronoun, 3rd person, dative, singular) = to thee


jñānaṃ (neuter, accusative, singular) = knowledge 


jñāninas (masculine, nominative, plural) = the wise ones


tattvadarśinas (tattva + darśinas) (adjective, masculine, nominative, plural) = seers of reality
