Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 7/Verse 5

अपरेयमितस्त्वन्यां प्रकृतिं विद्धि मे पराम् ।

जीवभूतां महाबाहो ययेदं धार्यते जगत् ॥७- ५॥


apareyamitastvanyāṃ prakṛtiṃ viddhi me parām ।

jīvabhūtāṃ mahābāho yayedaṃ dhāryate jagat ॥7- 5॥

Hence this is the inferior of me, but you must learn the other highest nature [of me] consisting of beings by which this world is maintained, O Mighty Armed One. 



aparā (feminine, nominative, singular) = inferior 


iyam (feminine, nominative, singular) = this 


itas (adverb) (indeclinable) = hence


tu (conjunction) (indeclinable) = but 


anyām (adjective, feminine, accusative, singular) = other  


prakṛtim (feminine, accusative, singular) = nature  


viddhi (imperative, 2nd person, singular) = you must learn 


me (pronoun, 1st person, genitive, singular) = of me


parām (feminine, accusative, singular) = highest  


jīvabhūtām (feminine, accusative, singular) = consisting of beings  

mahābāhas (masculine, vocative, singular) = O Mighty Armed One (epithet of Arjuna)  


yayā (pronoun, 3rd person, feminine, instrumental, singular) = by which 


idam (pronoun, 3rd person, neuter, nominative, singular) = this 


dhāryate (present tense, 3rd person, singular) = one is maintained 


jagat (neuter, nominative, singular) = world
