Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 7/Verse 1

श्रीभगवानुवाच

मय्यासक्तमनाः पार्थ योगं युञ्जन्मदाश्रयः ।


असंशयं समग्रं मां यथा ज्ञास्यसि तच्छृणु ॥७- १॥


śrībhagavānuvāca

mayyāsaktamanāḥ pārtha yogaṃ yuñjanmadāśrayaḥ ।
asaṃśayaṃ samagraṃ māṃ yathā jñāsyasi tacchṛṇu ॥7- 1॥

The Blessed Lord said, Son of Pritha, the mind absorbed in me, yoking to yoga, assistance from me, you shall know me wholly without a doubt to the heart's content. Hear that! 


śrībhagavān (masculine, nominative, singular) = the Blessed Lord 


uvāca (past tense, 3rd person, singular) = said


mayi (pronoun, 1st person, locative, singular) = in me 


āsaktamanās (āsakta + manās) (masculine, nominative, singular) = the mind absorbed  

pārtha (masculine, vocative, singular) = Son of Pritha (epithet of Arjuna) 


yogam (masculine, accusative, singular) = yoga  


yuñjan (present participle, masculine, nominative, singular) = yoking


mat (pronoun, 1st person, ablative, singular) = from me 

āśrayas (masculine, nominative, singular) = assistance 

asaṃśayam (adverb) (indeclinable) = without doubt  

samagram (adverb) (indeclinable) = wholly  


mām (pronoun, 1st person, accusative, singular) = me 


yathā (adverb) (indeclinable) = to the heart's content


jñāsyasi (future tense, 2nd person, singular) = you will know 


tad (neuter, accusative, singular) = that 


śṛṇu (imperative, 2nd person, singular) = hear!
