Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 6/Verse 43

तत्र तं बुद्धिसंयोगं लभते पौर्वदेहिकम् ।


यतते च ततो भूयः संसिद्धौ कुरुनन्दन ॥६- ४३॥

tatra taṃ buddhisaṃyogaṃ labhate paurvadehikam ।
yatate ca tato bhūyaḥ saṃsiddhau kurunandana ॥6- 43॥

There one attains that union with understanding from a previous body and then once again one strives towards perfection, Descendant of Kuru. 


tatra (adverb) (indeclinable) = there

tam (pronoun, 3rd person, masculine, accusative, singular) = that

buddhisaṃyogaṃ (buddhi + saṃyogaṃ) (masculine, accusative, singular) = union with understanding

labhate (present tense, 3rd person, singular) = one attains 

paurvadehikam (masculine, accusative, singular) = from a previous body


yatate (present tense, 3rd person, singular) = one strives  

ca (adverb) (indeclinable) = and 

tatas (adverb) (indeclinable) = then

bhūyas (adverb) (indeclinable) = once again

saṃsiddhau (feminine, locative, singular) = towards perfection 

kurunandana (masculine, vocative, singular) = Descendant of Kuru (epithet of Arjuna)
